• GDPR: Entering into effect on May 25, 2018, GDPR enforces a new set of rules and standards for the processing of personal data of individuals in the EU. Librarika is compliant with GDPR and our updated Privacy Policy takes into account and applies the requirements of the regulation.

The updated Privacy Policy will take effect on May 25, 2018. By using Librarika’s services on or after that date, you’ll be agreeing to our updated Privacy Policy.

Being a popular library ILS system, Librarika, is committed to bring more important features to our librarians. Today, we are glad to announce that we have beta launched our bulk actions module. This module will help our librarians to do more with their library by doing less. Specially suitable for changing your student's group at the end of academic year, bulk activate or deactivate or update or delete your members, medias, copies etc.

Our my articles section enables our librarians to write their own tutorials, story, tips, how-to articles those are primary aimed to guide others in using the system. We believe users are best story teller and we would like to empower our users to be part of this platform.

We have just launched the Android version of our Librarika App for the librarians. The app provides functionalities similar to the iPhone app such as: Smart Add, Quick check-in, Quick check-out, Catalog searching, Patrons managements, Circulations managements etc.

Libraries are founded to share knowledge among the reader base, therefore they should be open for all in the society. Specially this is the case for most of the public libraries, where anyone can go and check-out books quite easily. So, why should there be an obstacle to join a Library.

Librarika is glad to provide this awesome infrastructure to libraries around the world. So far our free plan reached thousands of Libraries around the world. We want to continue to the path we have stepped into in a much better way. However, in order to cope up with the infrastructure and development cost, we must promote our paid plans to large libraries.
