For last couple of months, we have received many requests from our librarians about an easier option to bring members / patrons on-board. Consider a library with hundreds of members, it was a sheer pain for our librarians to bring the member base into their online library and keep track of their invites.

With dedicated widgets, it is now easier to put a catalog search box or new arrival widget right into your website. A set of ready made widgets perfectly configured with your OPAC URLs are available from Librarika to make the integration process even smoother.

Reminders of circulation items is another frequently requested features of Librarika. We understand that, it is really important to send email notifications on different events during booking cycle, specially when an item is overdue, the member / patron needs to be reminded. On the other hand, ability to send reminder prior due date or when a reservation becomes nearer is also a handy feature.

For some libraries, it is very important to import their Members / Patrons from a CSV file. Specially for large libraries having hundreds of members / patrons. While many libraries in Librarika can do the job manually by adding member one by one, it is definitely an added advantage to import in bulk.
