The characters are terrifying monsters and a couple of boys that meet these monsters. This could be a great scary story to tell friends around a campfire. In the beginning of the book, two dare devilish boys go wondering around one day and find a flyer for a festival called "cirque Du Freak" where they meet a handful of monster which seem to just be real people. The book brought a little fright to me also because of all the scary event...
